Expected Faculty Outcomes

 

Scholarship

All tenure track faculty members will submit at least one research manuscript annually.

Teaching

All faculty members will receive average annual course evaluation scores of at least 3.0 out of a four point scale, with four being the highest possible score.

All full time faculty members will show evidence that they are engaging in the scholarship of teaching (examples vary but might include pedagogical or content innovations in courses, attendance at continuing education conferences, or making professional presentations at conferences locally or beyond, manuscripts, creative projects, or service-learning).

Service

All full time faculty members will provide service to the community or the profession, through membership in professional organizations, leadership in professional or community groups, or community service activities.

All full time faculty members will participate on at least one college or university committee.

Practice

All faculty members teaching in the advanced practice nursing emphasis areas will meet the requirements for continuing certification in their advanced clinical specialty areas.

All faculty members will have expertise in the clinical practice areas in which they are teaching.
