Graduate Students
Graduate students may apply for the Federal Perkins Loan (formerly NDSL), Federal College Work-Study Program, and the FFELP (Federal Family Education Loan Program) Stafford Loan Program, or Graduate PLUS Loans. Students who have earned their first baccalaureate degree are no longer eligible for federal and state grant programs. However, Graduate Students but eligible for much higher annual loan limits (see Loan limits.)
Graduate students may also qualify for fee scholarships or research or teaching assistantships not funded by Federal Work Study. For more information about these sources of assistance, students should contact their academic department or the Graduate School Office.
