Actively enrolled students have the option to pay their semester balance in full by their billing due date. Students can also enroll in a payment plan before the enrollment deadline to pay their semester balance in monthly installments throughout the semester. Students enrolled in a payment plan will not receive monthly finance charges but will be required to pay a setup fee before enrolling in a payment plan.

Eligibility Requirements for enrolling in a payment plan

  • Minimum semester balance of $200.00
  • Must enroll before the enrollment deadline (See below Schedule for each semester)
  • Must be in Good Financial Standing

  • Setup Fee: $50.00
  • Late Fees: $25.00


Important information regarding Payment plans

  • Payment Plan monthly installment amounts are subject to changes based on charges and/or credits applied to the students account balance. Installment amounts DO NOT increase within 21 calendar days of the due date
  • The University of Missouri Saint Louis reserves the right to remove or cancel students from their payment plan due as outlined in the Statement of Financial Responsibility students must agree to before enrollment in courses at UMSL.
