Nursing is consistently recognized and celebrated as a profession that society trusts. Nurses are called upon and are meeting the challenges of a changing and increasingly complex health care environment.

The College has been educating nurses since 1981. It was first designed to provide innovative educational programs leading to a baccalaureate degree for nurses that had graduated from diploma or associate degree programs. It has now grown to include, along with the RN to BSN program  traditional and accelerated baccalaureate programs, BSN and MSN to DNP programs and a PhD program.

The quality of our educational programs is the result of a cadre of excellent faculty who are experts in their areas of practice and research who guide students in being leaders in providing care, producing projects that directly impact the quality of nursing practice, and research that contributes to the discipline of the profession. Our graduates are prepared for the 21st century and beyond.

Nursing is a wonderful and fulfilling profession with many opportunities. We are looking forward to having you with us as we open the door to a rewarding future.

Sincerely,

Judith H. Lewis EdD. RN.

Interim Dean, College of Nursing
