Featured Scholarship

The Sangdow Tuly Scholarship in Nursing is awarded annually to a full-time degree-seeking student majoring in Nursing at the University of Missouri-St. Louis, with consideration given to factors including recipient’s financial need, socioeconomic challenges overcome, diversity, and future potential in the nursing profession.

 Two (2) $2500 scholarships are awarded every quarter to students who are seeking baccalaureate, master's or doctoral degrees in nursing.  You may view prior winners, eligibility requirements and access the application through the link above.
Visiting Nurse Association of Greater St. Louis Ursula Johnson Bracy Scholarship

One $5,000 scholarship to be awarded by the Home Health Care Foundation for the College of Nursing.

Requirements:
  • Full time African-American student pursuing a BSN
  • Be in Academic Good Standing
  • Have demonstrated leadership characteristics as a student
  • Reside in the St. Louis greater metropolitan area(includes metro East Illinois)
  • Demonstrate financial aid (FAFSA must be filed with the UMSL Office of Financial Aid by March 1, 2021)
To be considered:
  • Submit the FAFSA by March 1, 2021
  • Fill out the scholarship application and submit with faculty recommendations already filled out (in a sealed envelope)
  • The University will complete the University Comments prior to submitting the Application

Visiting Nurse Association of Greater St. Louis Scholarship

Requirements:
  • Junior or Senior student(during 2021-2022 academic year)
  • Full-time BSN status
  • Minimum Cumulative 3.0 GPA
To be considered:
  • Submit the FAFSA by March 1, 2021
  • Fill out the scholarship application and submit with faculty recommendations already filled out (in a sealed envelope)
  • The University will complete the University Comments prior to submitting the Application
