Note: OIPE Program Preview and Day in the Life Visit schedules will be announced in time for the start of fall semester
May 30: OIPE at the Pony Bird Disability Resource Fair in Herculaneum, MO
June 3 - July 8 on Wednesdays only: Summer Small Group with Heather Cowan at the EDCollabitat from 11 AM - 12 PM (only for registered current OIPE students and alumni)
June 3 - July 8 on Wednesdays only: Social Lunch at The Nosh after Summer Small Group with Heather Cowan (current students and alumni must BYOL: bring-your-own-lunch)
June 7: Cerebral Palsy Family Night at the Missouri Botanical Garden
June 8 - 12: OIPE Succeed Summer Enrichment Camp at the UMSL campus is daily from 7 AM - 10 PM (we are no longer accepting applications)
June 14: Flag Day
June 17: All-family Meet and Greet at the UMSL campus from 5:30 - 7 PM (only for registered OIPE current and incoming family members and their student)
June 19: Juneteenth (offices at the University will be closed in observance of this holiday)
June 21: Father's Day
July 4: Independence Day (USA)
July 13 - 17: OIPE Succeed Summer Enrichment Camp at the UMSL campus is daily from 7 AM - 10 PM (we are no longer accepting applications)
July 22: All-family Meet and Greet at the UMSL campus from 5:30 - 7 PM (only for registered OIPE current and incoming family members and their student)
July 25: Summer Family Workshop at the UMSL campus from 10 AM - 3 PM (only for registered OIPE incoming family members; no students)
July 31: Academic Bridge at the UMSL campus from 10 AM - 3 PM (only for registered OIPE incoming students)
August 6: OIPE program preview at Immanuel UCC Fellowship in Ferguson, MO
August 7: Academic Bridge at the UMSL campus from 10 AM - 3 PM (only for registered OIPE incoming students)
August 19: Early Move-in Day only for all OIPE students residing in UMSL Oak Hall
August 20: OIPE Orientation Day for new students and family members
August 20: UMSL Parent and Family Reception from 4:30 - 6 PM at the 3rd Floor Century Rooms, Millennium Student Center (for family members of all new, incoming UMSL fall 2026 students; must register through your student's Triton Portal by August 1, 2026)
August 20: UMSL Student Legacy Pinning Ceremony at 5 PM (venue TBD) for new, incoming UMSL fall 2026 students who have relatives who are UMSL alumni; student may RSVP through their Triton Portal)
August 21: UMSL New Student Convocation, Parent/Family Orientation, and Campus Expo from 8 AM - 5 PM at the Touhill Performing Arts Center (for all new, incoming UMSL students and family members; please note student and family orientation will happen simultaneously. Campus Expo will happen after the orientation. Sign up to join the UMSL Parent and Family Portal to stay updated.)
August 21 - 23: UMSL Weekend of Welcome for all students
August 24: Classes begin at UMSL starting 8 AM CST
