We are pleased to announce that
on June 3, UMSL implemented a new Ad-Hoc Reservation Request system. This new system, called
25Live, replaces the Outlook series of calendars used in the past and will
provide an online process for faculty/staff to request classrooms for special
activities. (Please note the Outlook calendars will no longer be used to
determine classroom availability). NOTE: This new
system is NOT to be used for requesting changes to scheduled classes. To
change the time or location of a class, please contact the Registrar's
Office directly. Students will not be able to
submit requests for classrooms. Faculty or staff sponsors will be
required to make reservation requests on behalf of students. [NOTE: Teaching Assistants
and Student Workers, as students, will NOT be able to make reservation
requests. The faculty/staff sponsor or department assistant should make
the request]. The Registrar’s Office will
be reviewing and approving all room reservation requests, and will contact you
if there are any issues with the date or room you have requested. NOTE: As has always been the
case, special event or ad-hoc reservation requests cannot be made until the
academic course schedule for that semester is complete and all courses are
assigned to rooms. Once that is finalized, ad-hoc room requests can be
submitted. 25Live can be accessed at the
following URL: https://25live.collegenet.com/umsl/.
A quick start guide is also available at http://www.umsl.edu/~registration/files/pdfs/25livequickstart.pdf.
(Important) Instructional
Support Services will continue to provide support for any of the classroom
technology available and for the locking/unlocking of rooms. Lastly, if you have any
questions after looking at the quick start guide, members of Instructional
Support are more than happy to meet with you; please call 516-6852 if you need
additional help. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to let us know. |
