"I just want to take a few minutes to commend you on the wonderful job you are doing with recruiting the excellent volunteer staff you and your team selected and sent to Gallery Visio. The two teens that volunteer twice weekly, show up on time, and are very dedicated, diligent employees who often offer cheerfully to work over time beyond their set hours. Mary, the Events Volunteer sent to work Friday's opening, was absolutely wonderful with directing traffic to the gallery and making sure that everything went smoothly! I heard several guests thank her personally on their way out for all of her help. She not only directed them to the space, but also took the time to talk with them about the exhibit, and their individual interests in it. She made them feel welcomed and at home. Many of them were new to the campus, and she helped project a great image of UM-St. Louis to these important leaders of the Latin community. We want her back as often as possible!
