UM System Professional Development

The UM System offers several different professional development opportunities throughout the year.

Supervisor Development Series

The Supervisor Development Series is a seven-course program geared toward employees who are new to a position with supervisory responsibility. Participants would ideally attend this series as a part of their onboarding process (post hire, reclassification, etc.). Those with existing supervisory responsibilities are also welcome and encouraged to register. Learn more about this series.

Retirement Seminars

The UM System Office of Human Resources offers seminars to help actively employed faculty and staff, as well as retirees, plan for retirement and understand the University's core and voluntary retirement plans. Learn more about the retirement seminar series.
