The Friends of the Library (St. Charles County Library Foundation) needs volunteers to help with the set-up, operation, and tear-down of the three-day Summer Book Fair which takes place May 31-June 2. Volunteer registration is open now through May 21 or until all shifts are full.  
Volunteers are needed:

Friday, May 31: Assist with sale

Lutheran Senior Services invites UMSL employees to use their EVP service hours by assisting with resident activities (parties, games, chapel and more) or with the opening of their NEW Hidden Gems Resale store in Crestwood.  The agency is advertising opportunities at locations throughout Metro St. Louis in the United Way’s new online volunteer database located at www.stl.unitedway.org/.  Whether you have 2 or 8 hours to share, you will surely find a match. Once on the site, you can search for opportunities (search on 63144 or Seniors ), RSVP to help, or request more information. The database is updated daily so check in often! 

Flexible date and time
English to Spanish Translators
Assist the Human Resources department with updating employee training modules with Spanish language materials. Volunteers are needed to translate English to Spanish in writing and others are needed to record the same material in Spanish. This is an ideal project for a bi-lingual volunteer who has an interest in training and education. This work can be completed on a half or whole day of your choosing.  The opportunity is on-going.

Photo Helper - Help the Activity Team at Hidden Lake get out of their time warp!  Help is needed with updating several digital photo frames in the community by selecting and loading new photos to the memory card for each frame.
