Melinda Adams currently serves as the Interim Executive Director of Human Resources at the University of Missouri–St. Louis (UMSL). Prior to joining UMSL’s HR team, she held the position of Assistant Vice President in the University of Missouri System Human Resources Office. With over 25 years of experience in human resources and organizational leadership across both the University of Missouri (MU) and the UM System, Melinda is recognized as a strategic and results-driven leader.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources Management, as well as a Master’s degree in Strategic Leadership. Her areas of expertise include HR team development, talent acquisition, compensation and classification, training and development, organizational development, project management, policy administration, and labor relations.
