General Information
To apply for a graduate program at UMSL, you must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university before you enroll.
How to Apply
- Submit an Application for Admission and pay the application fee
- Upload unofficial transcripts from all universities attended
- Applications are accepted as early as one year before you finish your bachelor’s degree.
- Upload supplemental documents
- Most programs require additional materials such as a statement of purpose, résumé, or letters of recommendation (LORs)
- Check specific requirements for your program: View Degree Admission Requirements
- If LORs are required, notify your recommenders in advance. You will request them through the application portal
