If you plan to study at UMSL on an F-1 visa, your first step is securing your Form I-20! This important document allows you to move forward with the visa process and officially begin your path to UMSL. If you have not yet submitted your documents needed for an I-20, do not wait! Review Housing Options and Register for On-Campus Housing
First-time college students are required to live on campus in Oak Hall, but convenient and comfortable options are also available for transfer and graduate students. Transfer and graduate students considering living off campus should review our housing page.
Registration for Classes, Tests, and Payment Options
Prepare to submit final, official transcripts and test scores. Take any placement tests you are required to complete ( EAP and/or MATH), then meet with your advisor to register for classes.
Immunization and Health Insurance
Submit your immunization records to UMSL Health Services. Review the health insurance requirements and find more information.
Prepare for Arrival to St. Louis
