The Counseling and Social Advocacy Center offers various therapy and support groups for individuals. Groups are 60 minutes and meet for 6-10 weeks. If you are interested in participating in a group, please contact the counseling center for more information 314-516-4613.
Groups that are held virtually meet through a secure Zoom link. Participants must be residing in the state of Missouri during the time of the group meetings.
Participants will complete a brief phone screening with a counselor prior to the first session. An information form and consent for treatment will then need to be completed before starting the group.
Grief and Loss Group (In-Person): Saturdays 10:00am-11:00am starting the week of April 6th 2024. This group is for individuals who have experienced any type of loss or are grieving those losses. This is a closed group, meaning once the group has started, no new members will be added. Register here!
Stress and Burnout Group for Students (Virtually): Group 1 on Mondays 8:30pm-9:30pm & Group two on Wednesdays 1:00pm - 2:00pm starting the week of April 1st 2024. This group is for individuals who experience stress and burnout during life as a student and outside of academic life. Register here!
