Dana Pierson is a graduate teaching assistant for UMSL’s English Department, working with students at UMSL’s Writing Center and with First-Year Composition courses. Dana is a student in the MFA Program at UMSL. She specializes in poetry, but has various interests in short fiction, professional, and technical writing. She has publishing experience as Editor-in-Chief for Litmag’s Wander through the Woods (2024), and is a recipient of the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) REALM Program Award: First Class.
