The College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) is the academic core of the University of Missouri-St. Louis, a public, metropolitan research university that serves Missouri's most populous and economically and socially diverse region.

The college offers 31 baccalaureate, 16 master, and 7 doctoral degrees as well as numerous minor and certificate options.

The Dr. Marcus Allen Advising Center in 303 Lucas Hall serves most majors in CAS and the School of Fine and Performing Arts. Advisors meet regularly with undergraduate students to discuss degree progress, course selections, and campus policies as well as refer students to other appropriate campus entities.
