The safety and well-being of our students is central to our College of Arts and Sciences Advising office. We are focusing on providing flexible options for delivering quality advising sessions to ensure that we are providing protection for our students and staff while supporting your academic journey at UMSL.

For the foreseeable future, all advising will be conducted over phone and Zoom. For advisor contact information, please see our advisors page.

Please call our front desk at 314-516-5501 or email us at artscience@umsl.edu to either cancel your appointment or reschedule as a telephone or Zoom online appointment. You may also cancel your appointment through MyConnect and follow up with your advisor to reschedule as a Zoom or telephone appointment. Additionally, as we practice social distancing to prevent possible spread of disease, we encourage all students to take advantage of the virtual appointment options.

We also understand that there may be questions from students about being successful as instruction increasingly moves online. Our campus has created a “Keep Learning” comprehensive resource page that can be reached at https://www.umsl.edu/services/ctl/KeepLearning/index.html

We would like to share our campus resource page on COVID-19 as well - that can be reached at https://www.umsl.edu/hcdas/coronaupdates.html
