About
Apart from his work teaching First-Year Composition and consulting writing in UMSL's Writing Center, Joseph Green is an M.F.A. student in poetry. He was born and raised in the St. Louis area and received his B.A. in English from Webster University. His work has appeared in The Sophia, The Green Fuse, The Mercury, and others. He served as managing editor of Currents, STLCC’s literary journal. His work is about our relationship with the cultural flotsam leftover from 20th century consumer and popular cultures. Outside of the classroom, he likes to spend time with his family and can be found in junk shops, flea markets, and antique malls.
