Wireless Network Configuration - Android

These instructions assume this is not the first setup of the Android device. The Android Operating System has a reputation of varying slightly from one manufacturer to another. There may be small differences in the settings but they should be very close to the following:

 

  1. Touch the Menu Key then select “Settings”.

  2. Touch “Connections”.

  3. Select Wi-Fi.

4. The device will automatically locate available networks. Touch eduroam: A dialog box will appear.

5. Enter your umsystem username and password, with your username in the form of:ssoid@umsystem.edu touch ‘View more’ and add your ssoid again under Anonimous Identity

6. Click Connect.You are now connected to the eduroam network.
