The field of Supply Chain Management & Analytics (SCMA) is a growing and exciting area of business research as new technologies and transport systems make managing global logistics systems and supply chains more important than ever. The instructional component of the SCMA Ph.D. program provides a solid grounding in business, with advanced coursework covering the latest developments in SCMA and special focus on international and analytical aspects. The primary research focus of the program is applied research to better manage SCMA systems in an operating environment that is increasingly complex, international, and technologically-driven.
The SCMA Ph.D. program relies on the College of Business Administration's nucleus of high quality faculty in the LSCM area. The program also leverages links with the College's affiliated research centers: the Center for Business and Industrial Studies and the Supply Chain Risk and Resilience Research Institute.
