Brian Salmo is the Managing Director at The Hermann Companies. Prior to this, Brian was the General Counsel of LMI Aerospace and also led its Niche Markets Business Unit. Before that, he was an attorney at Polsinelli where he regularly counseled clients through a variety of sophisticated transactions. He earned a BSBA (Finance) from UMSL and a law degree from Southern Illinois University.
In addition to serving on the Finance & Legal Studies Advisory Board, Brian is a member of the Chancellor’s Council at UMSL and a Board member of Great Circle, a Missouri-based behavioral health organization.
Brian lives in St. Louis with his wife, Caitlin, and two children.
UMSL is the only public university in the region to carry dual AACSB accreditations for its business and accounting programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
