Alexandria "Alex" Paubel (Board President)
Senior - Accounting Major
Alexandria "Alex" Paubel is pursuing a BSAcc with an IST minor while enrolled in UMSL's Accelerated Master's Program for her MAcc. Before transferring to UMSL in 2023, Alex earned her Associate in Arts from Southwestern Illinois College with a perfect GPA while dual-enrolled in high school. She enthusiastically serves as Vice President for UMSL's Accounting Club and loves supporting business students' professional development through the role. She is excited for her upcoming internships at RSM in Federal Corporation Tax and PwC in Digital Assurance & Transparency. After college, Alex plans to get her CPA license and land a full-time position in public accounting.

Jalen Walker-Wright (Board Vice-President)
MBA Student
Jalen is a graduate student pursuing his MBA in Management at the University of Missouri–St. Louis. He earned his BSBA from UMSL, where he was a Pierre Laclede Honors College member and Dean’s List honoree. He currently serves as a Graduate Assistant for the DBA program and as a Graduate Intern for Student Leadership & Engagement. Jalen’s leadership spans student engagement, event planning, and program logistics. He also gained experience as a Store Executive Intern at Target and General Manager Intern at McDonald's. Named UMSL’s 2023 Student Leader of the Year, Jalen aspires to a career in event management or leadership development.

Lilly Houser (Board Secretary)
Junior - Account Major
Lillian “Lilly” Houser is a Junior at the University of Missouri–St. Louis, pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting with a minor in Economics. She is expected to graduate in Spring 2027. Currently working as a Tax Intern at a local public accounting firm, Lilly has gained valuable hands-on experience in her field. This fall, she will serve as the Accounting Club’s student government representative, where she looks forward to advocating for UMSL students and continuing her professional development.

Cate Hartley
MAcc Student
Cate Hartley is pursuing a Master of Accountancy with an anticipated graduation date of December 2025. Prior to starting at UMSL, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Missouri-Columbia. At UMSL, Cate has been an active member of the Accounting Club. During the spring 2025 semester, she served as a Teaching Assistant for Dr. Countryman’s undergraduate managerial accounting courses. Outside of her coursework and campus involvement, Cate has dedicated significant time to studying for her CPA exams. She will begin a full-time role as an Audit Associate with Anders CPAs + Advisors in September 2025.

Grant Ebert
MAcc Student
Grant Ebert is currently an Accelerated Master's of Accounting student. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting during the Spring 2025 commencement, where he also had the honor of serving as the College of Business Student Marshall. Additionally, Grant was recognized by both the business faculty and his peers as the Outstanding Undergraduate Accounting Student for the 2024-2025 academic year. He serves as the President of the UMSL Accounting Club and works as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for Dr. Countryman’s Managerial Accounting courses. Upon completion of his Master’s degree, Grant intends to sit for the CPA exam and pursue a career in public accounting.

Anisha Inaganti
MBA Student
Anisha Inaganti is currently pursuing an MBA in Finance at the University of Missouri–St. Louis, after completing her Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology. With experience as a Finance Analyst Intern at KMV Projects, Anisha is passionate about finance and is an active member of the Finance Club. Her interests extend to marketing and sustainability, aiming to merge these passions in my career. Anisha enjoys contributing to college activities and seeks opportunities to make a positive impact.
Deuce Thigpen
Junior - IST and Accounting Major
Reginald “Deuce” Thigpen is a junior at the University of Missouri–St. Louis studying business with an emphasis in information systems and accounting. He was born in Jacksonville Florida, but has spent most of his childhood in Saint Charles Missouri. Deuce's previous education before college was provided by Pensacola Christian Academy through homeschooling. His interests include sports (especially basketball and football), building computers, online competitive gaming, and fashion. Finally, a few of his long-term goals include completing his degree and then securing a management position within a company.
Addison Eaker
MS in FinTech Student
Addison Eaker is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Financial Technology (Fintech) through the Accelerated Master’s Program at UMSL, where she also received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Finance. Throughout her academic career, she has consistently earned placement on the Dean’s List, reflecting her dedication to academic excellence. During her undergraduate studies, Addison served as President of the Finance Club, where she focused on expanding students’ networking opportunities and enhancing their knowledge of the financial industry. Her leadership helped bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world financial careers. Currently, Addison serves as a full-time Operations Analyst at Wells Fargo.
Clarissa West
MAcc Student
Clarissa West is a resolute graduate student currently pursuing a Master of Accountancy. She is one of the Vice Presidents of Beta Alpha Psi as well as the Immediate Past President of NABA Inc. During her presidency she introduced three impactful events the Entrepreneurship Panel, Emotional Intelligence Workshop which was led by her, and a Membership Bowling Party. Under her leadership the chapter won UMSL’s Student Organization of the Year award. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Missouri–St. Louis. Over the summer she was a NABA – ACAP counselor aiding with promoting awareness of the diversity in the accounting profession to high school students.

Kazuki Yamashita
MAcc Student
Kazuki Yamashita is a graduate student pursuing his MAcc at the University of Missouri–St. Louis. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics in Japan and currently works as a graduate assistant for one of UMSL’s accounting professors. Kazuki is eager to start his career in the accounting field and is planning to obtain his CPA license. An active member of the Accounting Club, he regularly attends events to expand his network and industry knowledge. In his free time, he enjoys baseball and visiting Busch Stadium to watch the St. Louis Cardinals.
