Alexandria "Alex" Paubel (Board President)
Senior - Accounting Major
Alexandria "Alex" Paubel is pursuing a BSAcc with an IST minor while enrolled in UMSL's Accelerated Master's Program for her MAcc. Before transferring to UMSL in 2023, Alex earned her Associate in Arts from Southwestern Illinois College with a perfect GPA while dual-enrolled in high school. She enthusiastically serves as Vice President for UMSL's Accounting Club and loves supporting business students' professional development through the role. She is excited for her upcoming internships at RSM in Federal Corporation Tax and PwC in Digital Assurance & Transparency. After college, Alex plans to get her CPA license and land a full-time position in public accounting.
Addison Eaker
Senior - Finance Major
Addison Eaker is pursuing a BSBA in Finance with an Emphasis in Portfolio Management and is a proud member of the Dean's List. Through the Accelerated Masters Program, she has begun taking master's level classes to receive her MS in Fintech by the end of 2025. Addison served her junior year as Vice-President of the Finance Club and will return to fill the role of President in the fall, hoping to increase the student body's networking opportunities and financial industry knowledge. Through her internship at Wells Fargo this summer, Addison hopes to develop professional skills with which she can further contribute to UMSL's business programs.
Grant Ebert
Junior - Accounting Major
Grant Ebert is a junior accounting major with an anticipated graduation next year. He will complete his BS in accounting with a minor in information systems. This fall Grant will assume the role of Vice President of the UMSL Accounting Club. After the spring semester concluded, he began working as an auditing intern at a public accounting firm. Grant's experience at UMSL thus far ha s been excellent and has prepared him f or such work outside of the classroom . He was very honored t o be asked by Dean Schiller to be a student advisor for the College of Business. Grant looks forward to the role in the future and becoming a representative of the students within UMSL's thriving campus.
Cate Hartley
MAcc Student
Cate Hartley is currently pursuing a Master of Accountancy while working toward her CPA license. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with minors in Accounting, Business, and German, from the University of Missouri-Columbia, graduating summa cum laude. Since starting her master's program in January 2024, Cate has appreciated the support and education at UMSL. She serves as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for Dr. Countryman’s undergraduate managerial accounting course, where she advocates for student success. Cate will begin a full-time role as an Audit Associate with Anders CPAs + Advisors in September 2025 after completing a valuable internship in their audit department.
Anisha Inaganti
MBA Student
Anisha Inaganti is currently pursuing an MBA in Finance at the University of Missouri-St. Louis, after completing her Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology. With experience as a Finance Analyst Intern at KMV Projects, Anisha is passionate about finance and is an active member of the Finance Club. Her interests extend to marketing and sustainability, aiming to merge these passions in my career. Anisha enjoys contributing to college activities and seeks opportunities to make a positive impact.
Deuce Thigpen
Junior - IST and Accounting Major
Reginald “Deuce” Thigpen is an upcoming junior at the University of Missouri Saint Louis studying business with an emphasis in information systems and accounting. He was born in Jacksonville Florida, but has spent most of his childhood in Saint Charles Missouri. Deuce's previous education before college was provided by Pensacola Christian Academy through homeschooling. His interests include sports (especially basketball and football), building computers, online competitive gaming, and fashion. Finally, a few of his long-term goals include completing his degree and then securing a management position within a company.
Jalen Walker-Wright
MBA Student
Jalen is a graduate student pursuing his MBA in Management at the University of Missouri–St. Louis. He earned his BSBA from UMSL, where he was a Pierre Laclede Honors College member and Dean’s List honoree. He currently serves as a Graduate Assistant for the DBA program and as a Graduate Intern for Student Activities. Jalen’s leadership spans student engagement, event planning, and program logistics. He also gained experience as a Store Executive Intern at Target. Named UMSL’s 2023 Student Leader of the Year, Jalen aspires to a career in project management or event coordination.

MAcc Student
Kazuki Yamashita is a graduate student pursuing his MAcc at the University of Missouri–St. Louis. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics in Japan and currently works as a graduate assistant for one of UMSL’s accounting professors. Kazuki is eager to start his career in the accounting field and is planning to obtain his CPA license. An active member of the Accounting Club, he regularly attends events to expand his network and industry knowledge. In his free time, he enjoys baseball and visiting Busch Stadium to watch the St. Louis Cardinals.
Yarely Zamacona
Senior - Accounting Major
Yarely Zamacona will be graduate with a bachelor’s degree in accounting in the spring 2025 semester. She is in the Accelerated Master's Program and will continue her education at UMSL to obtain a Master’s in Accountancy. During the 2025 spring semester, Yarely completed a tax internship at a local private accounting firm where she was able to learn and apply accounting concepts. Following graduation this May, she will begin in her professional at the same local private accounting firm to gain further experience. Yarely also plans to start studying for her CPA license and hope to obtain it within the next few years!
