The UMSL Advanced Credit Program (ACP) is a dual credit program, as defined by the Missouri Department of Higher Education, providing students with the opportunity to earn UMSL college credit while still in the high school classroom. Thousands of academically-motivated students across 90+ St. Louis-area high schools participate in the program each year, engaging in subjects such as English, math, science, foreign language, art, music, communications, business, computer science, and more.

The UMSL Advanced Credit Program is accredited by the National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP), ensuring that the dual credit courses are as rigorous as courses offered on UMSL's campus. See the NACEP Membership Directory for more information.

All ACP instructors are qualified and meet the criteria of the Higher Learning Commission and the Missouri Department of Higher Education to offer courses for college credit, ensuring high-quality instruction. The vast majority of ACP instructors hold a master's or doctoral degree in their field.
