The Office of Academic Integrity & Student Conduct is dedicated to encouraging responsible community behavior, educating UMSL students, and facilitating accountability in situations where violations of the Student Standard of Conduct have occurred. These behavioral standards and intervention efforts provide a positive university climate that encourages students to take responsibility for their actions, learn conflict resolution skills, enhance decision-making ability and advance development of social awareness and ethical values.
Every student at the University of Missouri-St. Louis is expected to adhere to the Student Standard of Conduct and to uphold the policies and procedures of the University of Missouri-St. Louis. This policy outlines behaviors and actions for which students may be issued sanctions ranging from a warning to suspension or even expulsion. The purpose of the University’s policy and procedures is to help maintain a safe campus environment conducive to academic success while protecting the rights of all members of the University community.

Academic Integrity & Student Conduct Annual Report 2024-2025
The purpose of this report is to summarize Academic Integrity and Student Conduct activity during the 2024-2025 academic year, defined as August 1, 2024- July 31, 2025. During the 2024–2025 academic year, the Office of Academic Integrity & Student Conduct managed a total of 153 file IDs. Out of the 153 total file IDs reviewed, there were a total of 75 academic integrity cases and 39 behavioral conduct cases. This report provides a summary of the types of violations, demographics, and outcomes.
