What The Web Office Will Need to Start Converting Your Site

The Web Office will help you in converting your Website to the university standard. To make the process quick and easy, we will need certain information before your Website can be converted to meet the university standard:

  • Name of Webmaster for Website (each department should have only one Webmaster)
  • Website URL (link to your Website’s home page)
  • Login and Password for Web Account* (do not send this information in an email)
  • Verify all contact and address information
  • Provide changes of content in a word document that contains the URL of the page to be changed and specific instructions as to what will be changed.
  • Provide any new images and instructions regarding placement of images.

The Web Office will set up a meeting with you to discuss the conversion process.

The process involves:

  • Converting the existing live content of your site
  • Publishing to a test server for approval of site owner
  • Publishing live after approval of site owner
