Students pursuing the Neuroscience Certificate are responsible for reaching out to a faculty mentor with whom they would like to complete a directed research project. The research project must be approved in advance by a member of the Neuroscience faculty, and it is required that the research will lead to a poster presentation at UMSL's Neuroscience Seminar, the Undergraduate Research Symposium, or a similar event.
Before working on the Certificate, complete an enrollment form and turn it in to C.J. Sunega at jgscr7@umsystem.edu or to the Psychological Sciences Department office in 325 Stadler. This form with the mentor's signature is required to be considered for the certificate.
