Admissions Standards

Qualifications for Applying to a Graduate Business Program:

  • The GMAT is not required for admission to the MBA, Master of Accounting (MAcc), Master of Science in Information Systems & Technology (MSIST), Master of Science in Cybersecurity (IST emphasis), Master of Science in Supply Chain Analytics, or any graduate certificate program. 

  • Admission standards are consistent across all graduate business programs, including master’s degrees and graduate certificates. To apply, an applicant must:

    1. Hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

    2. Demonstrate strong potential for academic success.

  • Graduate Business Programs take a holistic approach when evaluating student applications. Both grade point average (GPA) and professional experience are considered in admissions decisions.

  • Applicants with a 3.0 GPA or higher (on a 4.0 scale) qualify for regular admission. Students may be admitted on a restricted status if their GPA is slightly below 3.0.
