The Office of Graduate Business Programs is open generally Monday - Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. Online appointments are available until 6 pm on Wednesdays. Appointments typically last 30 minutes.

Once you have been admitted, you should meet with an advisor to discuss program requirements and select courses for the upcoming semester. Daytime and evening appointments are available. Please note: Advising is required for all new students.
Program length depends on enrollment status and academic background. Typically, an MBA can be completed in 2 years going full-time. Our Online Cohort MBA can be completed in 16 months.
Please schedule an appointment to meet with an advisor to discuss your academic background and course of study at UMSL. Advisors can customize a course of study plan with you.
Classes are generally scheduled in the evenings, Monday through Thursday, weekends, or online. The majority of classes meet one night per week from 6:55-9:35 p.m. A few classes are scheduled to meet two nights per week on either Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday, and meet from 5:30-6:45 p.m. Classes for the Online Cohort MBA are asynchronous, meaning you will be able to complete coursework at your own convenience within a designated timeframe.
Several monetary awards based on performance in one of the graduate business programs are available on an annual basis. Additionally, numerous student loan programs, some of them targeted to graduate business students, are available. The Student Financial Services Office can provide more specific information about the availability of aid and student loan programs. Students may also earn a Graduate Assistantship to assist with the cost of tuition.
