In addition to UMSL’s university-wide career and internship fairs, UMSL Marketing puts together its own fair every semester. The outstanding reputation produced by UMSL’s marketing graduates in the greater St. Louis area brings numerous employers to our college. Students are given amazing opportunities to speak with business owners and recruiters at these events while on their search for internships, jobs and other networking leads that can get them started in their career.
Before each fair, the Marketing and Entrepreneurship Department gives students plenty of opportunities to prepare, from resume reviews to seminars on how to perfect your LinkedIn. The positions offered at the events range from unpaid internships to full-time jobs. Some of the past employers have been nonprofits and multinational corporations, including O’Fallon Brewery, SLAM! Agency, and FleishmanHillard. In addition to these, there are other events for making connections, such as Speed Networking and Marketing Club events. UMSL Marketing career and internship fairs provide something for every student.
