Integrate Economics into Other Subject Areas!

UM-St. Louis education students have found on-line economics lessons that complement concepts presented in social studies, math, science, and reading textbooks. Take a look at their recommendations, teach a little economics, and jazz up that textbook reading.

As a bonus, these students also located lessons to complement popular children's trade books. Lessons accompany the following titles:

Alexander, Who Used to Be Rich Last Sunday
The Berenstain Bears Dollars and Sense
If You Made a Million
The Lorax
Milo and the Magical Stones
The Oregon Trail
Quail Can't Decide
The Service Station: Busy Places
Wishes and Rainbows
