Welcome to Student Advocacy & Care! Our mission is to empower students to overcome challenges and thrive. We understand that academic success isn’t solely dependent on one’s ability to study and complete assignments on time. Success can include the need for many things including emotional wellness, stability, and a supportive environment. Students are the experts of their own experiences, and we are here to collaborate on a plan that best addresses their unique needs. We are a team of social workers dedicated to supporting UMSL students to help drive their success.
We recognize that time and energy can be limited, and we will be diligent and efficient in our work with you. We can connect in-person, virtually, by phone or email.
