High School Jazz and A Cappella Choirs are warmly invited to take part in the first annual GSTL Jazz & A Cappella Choir Festival, hosted by UMSL Music. This festival invites jazz and a cappella choirs to perform on the beautiful Anheuser-Busch Stage in the Touhill Performing Arts Center. Each ensemble receives an on-stage clinic immediately following your performance, by one of our acclaimed judges, as well as positive and constructive feedback in written comments.
Format
- 15 Minute performance
- 10 minute clinic on stage
Cost
- $250 for first ensemble,
- $150 for additional ensemble(s) or If your school also registered for the GSTL Jazz Festival on 4/17 or Concert Band/Orchestra Festival on 4/18.
- $75 if you wish to use our rhythm section (piano, bass, drum set). Please note that we will need music from you by 3/16 in this case. [These rhythm section instruments will be available free of charge if you wish to use your own players.]
