Kim Warger earned a Bachelor of Music Education with an emphasis in voice from the University of Missouri - St. Louis and later returned to earn a Master in Music Education with an emphasis in technology. She retired from the Parkway School District in 2017 after teaching elementary general music for 30 years. During her tenure in Parkway, she was an adjunct staff member with UMSL teaching music education courses. Mrs. Warger continues to teach music education courses at UMSL.
She holds certifications in World Music Drumming and Level I and II American Orff- Schulwerk. She has served as president of the St. Louis American Orff-Schulwerk Chapter and is currently the chapter's college liason. She also served as Vice President for Early Childhood and Elementary Music for the Missouri Music Educators Association. Memberships include the National Music Educators Association and the American Orff Schulwerk Association.
