Based in St. Louis, she is a recipient of the Artist Presentation Society Award and performs regularly with the American Kantorei Orchestra, the Arianna String Quartet, members of the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, and Chamber Project Saint Louis. Her 2022 album Poésie with violinist Takashi Aoki was selected as Record Geijutsu’s “Critic’s Choice of the Month,” and in 2025 she premiered and recorded a new work for cello and piano by David Werfelmann with cellist Kurt Baldwin.
A collaborative pianist and member of the piano faculty at Webster University, she also serves as coach and pianist for the University of Missouri–St. Louis.
A native of Japan, she studied at the Toho Gakuen School of Music and continued her training in France under the mentorship of Jean-Yves Thibaudet, receiving top prizes from the Conservatoire National de Région de Rueil-Malmaison, the Conservatoire Supérieur de Paris–CNR, and the Claude Kahn Competition, along with the Maurice Ravel Medal and the France Lions Club Prize.
