B-74: Simmons-Boardman Collection

The Simmons Boardman company publishes three of the major industry publications of record; Railway Age, Railway Track & Standards (RT&S) and International Railway Journal. These files were in the company’s New York office and appear to have been images considered for use in Railway Age. The photographs generally range from the 1950’s to the 1990’s. The highest concentration occurs in the 1960’s and 1970’s.

The collection has a finding aid. Captions, attached and detached, are in nearly all folders, along with some press releases. copyright permission to publish may be necessary for items from this collection.
