After spending most of his professional career abroad, Dr. Moore has returned back to his native Midwest and joined the Department of Language & Cultural Studies at UMSL in 2022. He has lived and taught in the Czech Republic, South Korea, Thailand, the UAE and various domestic locations, most recently at George Mason University in Virginia. His research interests and publications revolve around Intercultural Competence, Language Policy and Sociolinguistics. Here at UMSL He teaches EAP courses to our international students as well as various Cultural Studies courses.
