( Fall 2025) . Seminars are normally held on Mondays at 4:00 - 4:50 pm in Room 103 Benton Hall. Seminars are attended by faculty, postdocs, graduate students from all divisions and visitors, as well as undergraduate chemistry majors typically in their final semester.

On Monday November 8, 2025, the 26 th Annual Robert W. Murray Lecture Lecture will be presented by Professor Dennis Tokaryk, Professor and Chair, Department of Physics at the University of New Brunswick, Fredericton, CANADA.

The Distinguished Alumni Lecture
The Distinguished Alumni Lecture for 2023-24 was presented by Professor Robert A. Stockland, Jr, PhD 1990, following the Department Awards Ceremony on April 29. The 2024-25 Lecture will be presented by Gregg J. Lumetta, BS 1982, PhD 1986, on Monday May 5. Details will follow. Dr Lumetta is Lab Fellow, and Chemist in the Nuclear Chemistry & Engineering Group at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, in Richland, WA.
