UMSL's Finance Club is an on-campus organization that offers great opportunities to students interested in finance. We focus on the importance of career-building through mentoring events, panel discussions, workshops, and much more. The Finance Club aims to expand on both the soft and hard skills of the participants' professional development; and to increase student interaction with local corporations through networking. Additionally, the Finance Club organizes and hosts an annual Finance Career Conference.

2026-05-05 Topgolf with RFC
The Finance Club and Investment Club hosted a Topgolf event to celebrate the end of the semester. Joined by Abigail Simms, Noah Masqueda, and Stephen Schott from Renaissance Financial, students developed their networking skills and learned about building a career in the financial industry.
2026-04-02 Careers in Leadership
The Finance Club hosted an event on leadership and career development with guest speaker, Clint Zweifel, Regional President and Managing Director at Northern Trust. In a fireside chat with Finance Club President, Julian Barnes, the discussion ranged from the leadership skills for building a career in the financial industry to Mr. Zweifel's experiences working in public service as the former Treasurer for the state of Missouri.
2026-03-05 CFA Networking Event
The Finance Club and Investment Club hosted a CFA Networking Event, which featured Morgan Koenig from Enterprise Bank & Trust. Morgan spoke to students about the CFA charter, opportunities in the profession, and shared advice on how to get involved with the CFA Society of St. Louis. This was followed by a networking session where students were able to ask questions to Morgan and get career advice.
2025-12-05 St. Louis Fed Visit
The Finance Club leadership team, joined by UMSL alumni Edmaelle Augustin from Edward Jones, visited the St. Louis Fed's Economy Museum. Students learned about the history of economics and the role of the Federal Reserve in the modern economy.
2025-11-05 Dining with Tritons
The Finance Club collaborated with the UMSL Alumni Association and Edward Jones to organize a Dining with Tritons event. Students participated in networking activities with UMSL alumni from Edward Jones. More details below:

The 2025 Finance Career Conference brought together students, faculty, and industry professionals for a dynamic day of learning and connection.
