Reasons to Drop

High school students enrolled through the ACP may choose to drop their college credit for any personal or academic reason. Dual credit is intended to help students jumpstart their college careers. If a student anticipates  receiving an unsatisfactory grade, or if the student finds that the college credit is no longer necessary for their post-secondary plans, they should be aware of the ACP drop and withdrawal deadlines below.

Students who drop the dual credit-eligible course with their high school or transfer to a different school midway through the course MUST communicate with the ACP to drop the equivalent UMSL course. Otherwise, the course will continue to appear on the student's UMSL transcript and may be marked as failed or incomplete.
