Provost Appoints Leaders of Important Campus Initiatives

Provost Cope has announced the appointment of Dr. Timothy A. Farmer as Director of General Education, a half-time appointment for a three year term beginning August 1, 2008. She has also appointed Patricia Dolan as the Interim Director of Academic Effectiveness in addition to her reaccreditation an other duties until a faculty member can be appointed to this position. The Provost is still seeking applications and nominations of UMSL faculty willing to take on a leadership role in assessment as the Director of Academic Effectiveness.
