• Advanced Credit Program

The UMSL Advanced Credit Program (ACP) is a dual credit program, as defined by the Missouri Department of Higher Education, providing students with the opportunity to earn UMSL college credit from their high school classrooms. Thousands of academically-motivated students across 90+ St. Louis-area high schools participate in the program each year.

The UMSL Advanced Credit Program is accredited by the National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP), ensuring that the dual credit courses are as rigorous as courses offered on UMSL's campus. See the NACEP Membership Directory for more information.

All ACP instructors are qualified and meet the criteria of the Higher Learning Commission and the Missouri Department of Higher Education to offer courses for college credit, ensuring high-quality instruction. The vast majority of ACP instructors hold a master's or doctoral degree in their field.

The Advanced Credit Program (ACP) is a partnership linking the University of Missouri to high schools in the metropolitan St. Louis area to enable eligible high school students to take high-quality, lower-division college courses on their high school campus.
