We have the largest program in the College of Arts and Sciences with approximately 600 undergraduate majors and 70 Ph.D. students. 
Over the years, we have had over 3,300 Bachelor’s graduates 
and more than 175 Ph.D. graduates in Psychology.



The Psychology Department welcomes Dr. Emily Gerstein to our faculty for the Fall of 2014. Dr. Gerstein is an Assistant Professor in Clinical Psychology. Her research interests include developmental psychopathology, family systems, and risk and resilient processes in children with early-identified developmental risk.

The Psychology Department welcomes Dr. Sandra Langeslag to our faculty for the Fall of 2014. Dr. Langeslag is an Assistant Professor in Behavioral Neuroscience. Her research interests focus on the neurocognition of emotion and motivation.

The Psychology Department welcomes Dr. John Nanney to our faculty for the Fall of 2014. Dr. Nanney is a Clinical Assistant Professor and the Director of the Community Psychological Services Center (CPS).
