We encourage you to say "see you later" to your student on Friday, August 22 after Orientation. Your student will be busy the rest of the weekend with limited free time and should be focusing on Orientation and Welcome events and preparing for the start of classes on Monday, August 25, 2025.

If you are coming from out of town and need hotel accommodations, please view our block of hotel rooms with an UMSL rate, items to bring, and directions to campus are also located on this webpage.
