SCOPE: This collection contains a large poster for Barack Obama’s first presidential campaign in 2008. The poster includes a blue ink drawing of Obama’s face and neck, under which is a partially obscured rising sun in the colors of the American flag, which was Obama’s official presidential logo. The text on the poster (underneath the pictorial elements of the poster) reads “Vote; Vote early in New Mexico Oct 18-21. Find out where by visiting voteforachange.com or calling 1-877-NM-CHANGE (1-877-662-4264).” The poster was paid for by Obama for America and endorses Barack Obama and Joe Biden for president and vice president in 2008.
