SCOPE: Hand-written mortgage, from Enoch William Lankey, Esq. to Robert Davies, Esq., of freehold lands, Dwellinghouses, and hereditaments in Croft, Croft Eaves Southworth, with Croft and Culcheth in the county of Lancaster. The mortgage, in British pounds, was £2400 with an interest of £4 pounds percent per annum, or approximately $11,664 and $19.44 USD in 1890.
