SCOPE: 19 letters written to Ms. Elizabeth Gentry Sayad or Mrs. Mary Denny from important personages, including Herbert Hoover, Franklin D. Roosevelt, ambassadors of France and Germany, actress Olivia de Havilland, and members of the House of Commons of the British Parliament.
Two books that were donated with the papers have been moved to the Mercantile Library's rare books collections. The books are "The Deserted Village" and "Columbia Missouri Herald Twenty-Fifth Anniversary April, 1895."
