The Math Center is part of the Mathematics and Writing Academic Center, located in 222 SSB.  The Math Center offers free individual assistance on a walk-in basis to students needing help with mathematics courses from basic math through calculus.

The Math Center physical tutoring has moved to Zoom for the Fall 2020 semester.

The Math Center hours for Fall 2020 are Monday through Thursday, 10 AM - 6 PM, Friday, 10 AM - 2 PM, and Sunday, 1 PM - 5 PM.  See schedule below, and check back frequently for updates. Please note the schedule has three columns.  You may need to scroll to the right to see the third column.

Math Center tutors work on a first-come, first-serve basis.  If another student is waiting, your session length may be limited.

If you have questions, please contact the Math Center Supervisor, Al Stanger at stangera@umsl.edu.

Students in Math 1030, Math 1035, and Math 1045 that would normally seek out help in the Math Technology Learning Center (MTLC) can instead reach out to any of the tutors on the Math Center schedule for assistance.
