Congratulations on your upcoming graduation! Follow this checklist to ensure you complete all requirements with the Honors College before your graduation.
Meet with Your Advisors
Meet with all academic advisors, including Honors, to ensure you have met all requirements for your degree.
Apply for Graduation
Visit UMSL's Commencement Website and Academic Advising Website for steps to declare graduation with the university. Be sure to apply for graduation in MyView (PDF) and register to walk in commencement.
Complete an Honors Exit Interview
Complete an Honors College Exit Interview. You must complete this form before you can pick up your Honors College commencement medallion.
Cap and Gown
Order cap, gown, and tassel through the UMSL Triton Store.
Update Your Address
Make sure your address is listed correctly in MyView, so your certificate reaches you.
Pay Any Remaining Fees or Charges
Check that your balance is paid with the Student Finanacial Service's Office so that your diploma is not delayed.
