UMSL graduate Lucy Grimshaw earns Fulbright scholarship to further her passion for social justice abroad

The Honors College and biology student aspires to become a doctor practicing visibly in a hijab in order to help other Muslim women and change perceptions and be there for other Muslim women.

Faith Clark
Cybersecurity student Faith Clarke has been selected for the SANS Diversity Cyber Academy. Clarke will be working to earn a GSEC certification in security essentials, a GCIH certificate in incident handling and an elective GCFE certificate in forensics examination.

Ibrahim Shabazz
After graduating with his undergraduate degree in accounting as well as an Honors College certificate, Ibrahim Shabazz will return to the College of Business Administration this fall to start on his Masters in Accounting.

Honors College student Joe Retzer is heading to SLU Law with a full-tuition scholarship after his expected graduation from UMSL in May. He became interested in politics during the lead-up to the 2016 presidential election.
