Damon Walker, Ph.D., is an Assistant Teaching Professor of Information Systems and Technology in the Ed G. Smith College of Business at the University of Missouri–St. Louis. He earned his Ph.D. in Education, with an emphasis in Teaching and Learning Processes, from the University of Missouri–St. Louis.
Dr. Walker also holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems and Technology and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Missouri–St. Louis.
He brings extensive experience in international information technology, having worked in several countries in West Africa, including Guinea, Senegal, Benin, and Nigeria, as well as with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). His global professional background informs his teaching and contributes to a dynamic, applied learning environment.
In recognition of his service, Dr. Walker is a recipient of the President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA).
