Rachel Steele is the Vice President of Supply Chain for Schnuck Markets, Inc. (Schnucks), a third-generation, family-owned grocery retailer committed to nourishing people’s lives. Schnucks operates 112 stores, serving customers in Missouri, Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin and employs more than 14,000 teammates. As Vice President of Supply Chain, Rachel oversees Schnucks’ warehousing and transportation operations and has responsibility for its center store buying team.
Rachel started her career in 2008 as an attorney at Schnucks handling various matters, including commercial contracts. She transitioned into the Schnucks supply chain department in 2017 with a focus on inbound logistics, and her responsibilities have grown since that time.
Rachel received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Truman State University. She went on to receive a juris doctor degree from the University of Missouri School of Law.
In her free time, Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, as well as hiking and doing Zumba.
